GCA Annual Events
GCA’s Annual Meeting and Board Elections: Every June the organization’s annual meeting presents the annual report and engages in a community dialogue. On that date, the community elects new board members.
Community Meet & Greet Events: The GCA hosts a number of Meet & Greet events at local businesses throughout the year.
Earth Day & Fall Clean-ups & Spring Planting: Join the Public Spaces Committee to clean-up litter and trim overgrowth at Magee Park and elsewhere in the neighborhood. Help plant flowers at Ronald Street and Irvine.
The Greenfield Glide 5K Run/Walk: Our annual 5K run and walk, The Greenfield Glide, is held in Schenley Park on the first Sunday in June.
Greenfield Family Pride Night: This event is brought to you in partnership with The Greenfield Community Association, Pittsburgh City Council District 5, Stories Like Me and Hugh Lane Wellness. We celebrate and support the diverse LGBTQ+ identities of Greenfield and Pittsburgh, alongside supportive Allies.
Greenfield Neighborhood Yard Sale: The GCA will have dozens of sellers and support from local businesses for this annual event at the end of August. This is not your typical neighborhood yard sale—it is an event.
The Holiday Parade: A festive parade on the first Friday of December travels down Greenfield Avenue with floats, marching bands and fireworks!
